Hi all,

Just thought I would sign up as I'm looking for my first clio cup.

I've recently sold my lotus exige S and caterham r500 and I'm just looking for something cheaper I can have some fun with in the track....... And not bang more in the mortgage for our extension.

Ideally a alien green 200 but a decent 172/182/197 will do the job.

Welcome. You've had some nice machinery. Clio is a good fun car on a budget though. Good luck in your search. Check out the buyers guide on here.
 
Welcome along - our good man @///M currently has an Exige so you should get on very well.
I also know of a superb 200 for sale in Deep Black on this forum :wink:

Hi Kieran,

R500, NICE! Bet that was hard to let go of.

Good luck on finding the right Clio, the buyers guide should be your bible, helped us no end when looking for ours.

They're obviously not at the level of your previous cars but my god these things are fun. Makes me feel 18 again.

And you can give it all it's got on the road and still remain reasonably legal!

Search is fruitless at the minute. Trying to find a cup 197/200.. Ideally I wanted something basic with no ac for track use but is something like a r27 still a good option?
 
you can remove ac if you want..i know lots of people want a cup or r27 but if you can find a decent standard 197 or 200,you can spend the rest,that you would have saved for not getting a cup,for upgrades like suspension etc..
just an idea :jimmy:
