Evening all,
Placed a deposit on a 60 plate Gordini in Black, not sure on the number yet as the car is being delivered on Monday for me to have a look over and a quick drive before I shell out the readies, but all being well it'll be mine by the end of play Monday/Tuesday.
I've had an interesting car history over the last 10 years or so. All started though with the Clio 182 when it came out, from there went Civic Type R (meh), S2000 (a motorbike disguised as a car with a Knight Rider dash), BMW Z4M Coupe (think dog taking a dump), BMW 123D Coupe (sensible yawn), BMW M3 V8 (this was an absolute disaster, needing an engine re-build during ownership.....), since our baby (i'm talking a physical human - not a car) has reached the magical age of 1 the Mrs and I decided to spilt our car fund to get a bus to transport everyone and everything (dog + child) leaving me to get a toy for approx 10k .... no contest, Clio was the answer. The 182 was the car I absolutely loved, its a go-kart with a roof - having driven thirsty V8's, 3.2 straight 6's, high revving 2.0's - honestly the Clio is well up there as just a grin producing, fun, chuckable piece of kit - fearless is probably the best word describe it.
So, sorry for the waffling, looking forward to re-kindling my 'yoof' - Bring on the 200! Pics to follow - (after its hopefully all in good working order and had a bath)
