You won't be disappointed with a clio. Like you said there is a good choice so wait for the right one to come up. You can get after market projectors and xenons if you decide on the 200.

I prefer my 200 over my old r27, that had the xenons recaros etc, the 200 doesnt but theres something about the 200 that tops it for me

Yea I do like clios but tbh I'm not fussed if it's a 197 or a 200
there a 2 nice white ones for sale just now I'm looking at
one of them is on here but has been sale for 3 months and the other ones down south
but it all comes down to the best deal you get
I'm not fussed about mods but a pop and bang from the exhaust would be nice lol
Then I think 4 k gets you a nice one as well, higher miles but I don't really do a lot of miles to tolerate getting one with low miles.

Welcome mate, you will not be disappointed if you get a 197/200 they are awesome cars. I get to drive lot's of cars over the years being a mechanic and its hard to pin point one that gives you the fun and smile a clio gives you.
