New 197 owner

Afternoon for sunny yorkshire,


Been on here a fair few years after owning a mk3 non sport back in the day.

Anyway recently picked up 197 for a bit of a toy to do a few trackdays and a trip to the ring in august.

Anyway here she is needs abit of a tidy up but overall pretty happy with it.





GW with recaro's and cup pack
Standard as far as i can tell apart from a k&n induction kit which will be getting replaced by a standard airbox and panel filter as im not too keen on the noise from it and there is no cold feed in place for it.

Few plans to tidy it up, might get a progress thread started up to keep track

It need a bit of maintenance to start and few cosmetic touch up's, will be removing the stickers and detailing it.

Also seems the exhaust is blowing looks like the flexi has gone so need that sorting and theres a knocking from the nsf, so if anyone has any advice on fixing these.

Standard airbox will be going on, how much is a 2nd hand k&n induction worth roughly?

Needs some better tyres thinking ns2r's and some decent pads and fluid.

Also maybe some h&r springs on are on the list
