Juiced mine up on Saturday morning, reset the trip and set the cruise at 70mph (68mph on GPS), and averaged 34 over the next 100 miles, most of which was motorway with a bit of country roads at each end. I do have the early short 'box though.



But when did you last reset the trip? I know around Cadwell mine averaged around 17mpg, but that was based solely upon track time and idling.

pussy's the pair of you :-p 11.6 mpg for me and thats over a tank and a half of Shell V power round Oulton.
I'm there next friday to see if i can better that.

Most people use v-power? Any noticable gains? I always used it in my last car

It definitely makes the car run better when cold, other than that I'm not entirely sure. I did run mine on Sainsbury's 97, but now only use VPower, if only for the cold starts.

i've only ran my last 2 cars on v power (mr2 and gt4) as i could genuinely feel the difference. the gt4 performed horribly with usual fuel. i'll be running the clio on aral super plus which is 101 octane woop woop
