Keep having fun...!
Notoriously bad on mpg. Some are worse than others. Have you cross checked whether that reading is accurate?

OK list to check:
1. What tyres/wheels are on the car, size and condition.
2. Buy a cheap air pressure gauge and check the pressures.
3. What's the setup air intake exhaust system aftermarket/factory and condition.
4. Where are you driving/speeds and style
5. Alignment of the wheels
6. Brakes if you have a sticking handbrake or calliper then the MPG can drop like a stone hard to check but in the morning letting off the handbrake does both rears release at the same time on the level see it the car will freewheel within reason, drive normally then look at the discs check for equal heat left to right from the brakes and look for difference in disc colour.

When you know all this then we can help

I drive pretty steady in ours, and nursing it I get an average over a tank full over around 31mpg

I guess if I had a bit of fun it would be well down in the 20's

nothing wrong with that figure unless you used to get a bit higher number...mine was like that before the conversion and now it's even lower than that :excited:

How have you got it so high? Mines currently at about 14-18. I do poke it everywhere though with a short ratio box.
I'd reset it and do a journey and see what you get with standard driving.

Massively depends on what sort of driving you do also, lots of motorways etc you're going to be seeing 30s, if your in town at 5mph your going to see low teens lol!

think mine is around that- i do lots of short journeys and if its a long one then it involves country lanes so i am not expecting it to be higher really..lol

Was getting as high as 36mpg (worked out through Fuelly) on pure motorway journeys but recently been more like 28-30mpg. I tend to keep it around 2k to 2.5k, shouldn't need anymore unless you are having fun! Good fuel, good tyres, correct pressures, regular servicing, non binding brakes. Biggest is driving style, if you have an on/off right foot I can understand getting 20mpg.
