Mk4 200t sidelights - deactivated?

Hi,

Just bought mk4 200t - just noticed that either "sidelight" was working. Changed both bulbs and still nothing.

Had a look in the books and found this (picture attached) stating the sidelights are deactivated.

Does anyone know why this would be? And is it possible for them to be reactivated by renault or specialist?

ddt4all is a bit if software that can tweak quite a few settings on a mk4 Clio. It might be able to turn them on.

Probably deactivated because you have DRLs

Don’t waste your time trying to reactivate them
As on looking at my 200t the incoming wiring plug at the headlight has no wires going to this lamp

Fitted as standard across all the MK4 clios, as you have DRLs as mentioned above they're not applicable
