Megane ecu??

Right question

got a full megane 225 and my 200

im planning to put the engine into my Clio.

When mating the meg ecu with meg wiring and Clio, will it run straight away? Or do I need to remove my immobiliser or get it reset? From Clio?

Or do I need CLIP?

is there anything on the electrical side I should do also? Eg to keep ecu unlocked?

You'll need the the clio immobiliser code programmed onto the Meg Ecu

Can anyone do that? or can i just send my meg ecu and clio immob code away to a specialist? or do they need the car?

If you talk to RS Tuning he should be able to advise

rs tuning was meant to of done mine and c****d it up and charged me £100 for the privilege take it to ste at sc autos and get him to do the ecu and loom I learnt the hard way!

Ive spoke to Paul, he said he could do it via post, e.g. sort the ecu coding out for meg ecu....

I also spoke to paul and said he could do it but when I got my ecu back plugged it in and nothing happened and he wasn't really interested in me going there with car and ecu to sort it out quick enough he said he was busy for 3 weeks which is fair enough but he didn't do it properly so id expect him to see it sooner than that to correct it as really its only an hours job
