Meg250 ~ Clio swap

Hi guys!

Its been up before but i would like to get info in one place were its easy for me to see what i need to source.

Looking to put a 250 engine in my 197.

What gearbox is recomended? The PK4 wouldnt fit i guess?

How is harness solved to get ESP still working? I dont like the frankenstein harnesses i see with all kinda weird problems. I can do immo off and UCH coding but what has been done up till now?

Let me know whats the best route to go! MEG250/265 of interest only.

Hi. I run a 265 Meglio, running 320/340.The R26box, with diff, works very well in mine. I have had no problems, even after around10 trackways, with this set up.I think some people run the 197 box, but I like the longer gearing.I also run a 250 throttle body, but the 225 body, seems easier to set up.

225. One problem, was over heating. Solved. Fan was the wrong way around!!.

I would describe the harness, as a bit of both., but several companies will do one for you.As Sean states, plenty of information on here.
