I recently bought a Clio rs200 and everything has went wrong with it including the engine as it now doesn’t work (big end bearings and crankshaft damage) I’m now wondering about keeping the car in the garage and saving up to put a meg225 in it
The issue is that it’s a lot of money at 20 only having a part time job plus I still have to insure it with a swap in it.
is anyone able to give me a short summary of how much could cost to get everything running
Also would like to hear opinions on what I should do with it:
1)if it’s a lost cause and I should sell it to someone who would be willing to do something else with (losing a lot of money)
2) bite the bullet and put a meg engine in it and keep it longer than I was originally planning
3) put another 197 engine in it and enjoy it that way.
