Yes, I agree, the best way forward is to plan early and plant the seed with everyone well in advance. The Wales run was really well organised, and all done in good time.

For a drive out, we do need someone with good knowledge of the roads in that area, and who would be prepared to plan a route. This in itself can take a lot of time and effort, but would be worthwhile.

Just been looking at the pics in @simoxmino's thread. We have to do something similar in Wales/the lakes. Those guys are having FUN!
