Malfunction?!?

Had a sketchy one today on way home from work, was driving for all of 5 mins taking it easy as I always do when setting off after the car has been parked up all day, everything was fine until I planted my foot on the excelerater pulling off a slip road on to a dual carriageway where everything then proceeded to go pair shape!?!

There was no power from the pedal (complete loss of power 0%) and the car was spluttering and kangaroo-in like a bitch! the service light came on and another symbol that I've never seen before thought it would pop up and show its ugly face, and to round it all off "check ESP" came up on the display?

I managed to coax her along until I could get off the dual carriage way where I then pulled over, hazards on and switched the engine off, left it a few minutes before starting her back up hoping and praying she hadn't died on me lol car started back up fine (thank god) I then sat there a few more minutes letting it run then finally revved it up a bit before pulling off. After that display was clear no service/warning lights staring me in the face and the car drove absolutely fine as if nothing had happened? Anyone got an idea as to what could have caused the car to have a nuclear meltdown like that????????????????

If you've had lights on then get them read.
 
Thanks for the feed back fellas I'm going to get it to the garage when I can to have the codes read if any stored, it's a strange one?! Since it happened car has been fine, no further trouble? As I said before after she had her episode it's as if nothing happened.
I'll let you know if anything after a trip to the garage

Took car in to the garage at the start of this week to have codes read, mechanic was scratching his head at the two codes that were stored?? He told me he'd never come across them before? so still none the wiser on that front.
Codes were cleared and now it's a waiting game to see if/when she throws any more my way, so far so good just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping it was all just a hick up.
Out for a drive this evening and all is good, :smile: driving spot on with no flaws.
 
Problems starting accuring a few weeks after having remap done? Hadn't had any trouble before that, so that's not filling me with confidence

Still having the same problem with my 200 and no closer to knowing what's causing the issues I'm having?

Have had the codes read multiple times but they keep popping up from time to time, what's weird tho is that after turning car off and then back on again all codes/warning lights are gone and can then be fine for a week or more, or half an hour until same problems reoccur.

Seems to be getting worse each time it happens lastest was today after leaving work same codes showed as well as warning lights but this time lost all power from the engine, then when trying to pull off after pulling over revs we're going bonkers and car was badly mis-firing, thankfully I managed to nurse her home jolting and spluttering all the way.

I'm at bit of a loss as what to do next?? Any suggestions will be much appreciated, badly want to get this resolved been going on now for 3-4 weeks :worried:
