Left window not working properly

Basically when I try to open the window it only opens about 5cm at a time. Even when fully pressed it does it.
Right one is fine. Any reason for this?
Cheers

possible cold weather?

i know alot of electric windows have difficulties opening or closing when the weather is freezing cold happened to mine the other day window would go up then come down again it was -6

and my old mans L200 warrior does this too when its freezing cold

It's some kind of safety feature. If you've been moving the window up or down a bit at a time trying to get it level with the other one for example, then this can trigger it. Mine has done it a couple of times. If it is this ''safety feature'' then you'll be able to reset it with a few minutes of fiddling...

To reset it;

1. Take the window all the way down. This may take a while...
2. Once it's all the way down, release the button and wait a few seconds...
3. Hold the button in the ''Down'' position for 10-15 seconds, release the button...
4. Et voila. Done. It'll now be back to normal. If it isn't, then this isn't what's causing the problem!!!

Hope that helps. :wink:

I had this recently after I'd disconnected the battery. As Willis said, keep pressing until the window is all the way down, hold the switch down for 30 seconds, then do the opposite (keep pressing until it is all the way back up and hold the button up for 30 seconds). Check to see if it's all in working order and sit back and smugly admire the fact you fixed something without so much as spending a penny or picking up a tool!

No worries, I'm forever trying to line the windows up to the same amount of ''open'', this happens at least once a week in the summer!!! :smiley:
