LED main bulbs

Has anyone tried these bulbs?
suppose to be alot better than halogen but not quite xenon.

They look a really good bit of a kit actually, might get some of these for my GF as she travels at night... (i have a xenon conversion already in the 200t)

My mate bought these for his car and says that they are very very bad.

Standing looking at them they are nice and bright.

Driving the car there is no beam pattern, The light does not go far (Distance Wise)

I think they're designed for projectors, rather than reflectors. That would explain the scatter you'll get with standard reflector lights.

The same reason that HID bulbs are useless in reflectors.

Yeah i have projectors. Fitted them today defo look very good and they seem bright too. probably on par with halogen for distance spam but they are brighter. Small dark patch right in the middle of the beam, maybe down to me having the bulb the wrong way but i think its just how they are. Dust caps just fitted but does stop the fan from being much use so ill see how they get on. 38 quid at the end of the day. Im happy
