ktech exhaust manifold

Hi all, recently had a toyosport exhaust manifold fitted, unfortunately it is vibrating like mad through the car and knocking on subframe, all engine mounts replaced and subframe bent slightly but still the same. it is doing my head in, iv looked at the ktech one, has anyone had one fitted and if so any issues? cheers

i want to know the same as i need a new manifold and would it pass the mot???

Pop to a local garage, blow torch and tweak the toyosport one surely?

unfortunately it doesn't look that easy to heat it up and adjust, I think it would need to come off to do, but after all the work it would take to remove manifold and replace manifold if it was not right it would be a bummer. Ktech have been very helpful with advice, does sound a good manifold, 2 week delivery at present, but am going to get one.

I asked K-tec whether their manifold touches the subframe and they said no, perfect oem fit apparently...

Have you changed your mount to the vibratechnics one? This is the one that people seem to use to stop the vibration.

sorry for delayed reply, no I have not tried the vibra technics mount, don't want to throw another hundred odd quid on one if don't work.

I've got the powerflex insert and I have no vibration or knocking from the toyosport mani at all!
