Knocking noise, back suspension

Hi I've got a 60 plate 200 and had a knocking noise coming from the back of the car when driving on bumpy roads or going over speed bumps for a while now. But it seems to be getting a lot worse now it's more of a crumpling sound and sounds to be coming from the back left, and it's making the noise over any little bump in the road. Any ideas
