Knock sensor

Were are the knock sensors on a 197 and are they the same as the 172/182 sensors?

front of cylinder under inlet manifold near to the oil filter

Hi all just looked at the photo of where the knock sensor is situated and when I checked mine the plug is on the opposite way around ie the metal spring thing is on the right? Does this matter or is my sensor loose or over tight?
I'm a new 197 owner so I don't have a clue about these car's.
