Cornering lights shouldnt be a problem as there not a requirement

As Ryan said, you'll be fine. Mine passed without them working.

You'll pass MOT with HID Kit as long as your beam pattern is fine. The police can give you a fine an 7 days to remove them for not havin auto balancing and washer jets but the only reason they would look for that is if you are being lairy to them or if your beam pattern is wrong. Just line up the projector correctly and you'll be fine.

think i just rather have the standard lights and put a 5000K bulb in there and that's it, im not too fuss about the looks as long as it looks oem and not too chavy.

5000k will be a blue bulb though if it's a halogen which fails MOT?

5000k halogen bulb I thought may be a bit blue to pass MOT. But you will have projector anyway so they won't know its halogen.
