Hi al,

New to the forum! Been thinking of getting 197/200 for a while now, and today I finally test drove one! Absolutely loved it :thumbup:

59 plate, french racing blue, recaros, 50k for £8,495. What do you reckon its actually worth? And is it anybodys old car? Reg HV59 OAY.

Forgot to say, its a 200 and the cambelt is yet to be done which is putting me off slightly and the steering wheel is quite badly melted, other than that looks in good nick.

Wouldn't be out of by the cambelt, wouldn't need to be done for 2 years/ 25k miles. Seems a little pricey though?

check autotrader..sure u can find a cheaper one on there..cambelt is not that expensive to change..had my done before xmas,water pump,sparkplugs and gearbox oil-total £280...dont take it to the renault dealer unless u want a stamp in ur service book...good luck with ur hunt..u will love it....
ps.ask about the gearbox..has it or has it not been replaced??quite important..

Yeah thought it was abit pricey for the mileage. Had a new gearbox 2000 miles ago.

I bet you could negotiate the price down a bit, As said i wouldn't worry about the cam belt as its not due for a while yet.
It looks a nice car though, The second best blue for the 200
