does anybody now were to buy the correct wireing conector to fit a sony headunit, as i am strugling.

This is what you will need to connect the after market HU to the cars standard wiring.

The car already has ISO plugs, that is for cars with quadlock's.
Most aftermarket stereos should plug straight in, but you will need adaptors to make the display and steering wheel controls work.
If you have Cabasse however, things are more complicated.

...go onto the Halfords website....see if they are selling the sony head unit you have in the site search...if they do, you can also put your car make and model in on the item page and it will tell you which adapter you will need....I did this with a new Sony unit we just put into our Golf and found the correct ISO lead.....
