is it possible to remove just the bottom cushion/base of the recaro and if so how is it done? i need to do a bit of a repair

it is swapped mine over last month

4 hex bolts (5mm allen key size) under the seats - takes about 30mins to swap both

just mention done this now took 15 mins to get off and same back on

had this when i bought it

just swapped over the whole bottom cushion assembly off the seats - passenger side is now drivers side and vice versa :thumbup:

I'm only getting drivers side seat so wont be able to do the same but will take care to look after the bolsters after all the reports of wear & tear, i'll be getting out my car like john wayne

Just so people know, this is (for me) a 2 minute fix and I'm more then happy to give tips. Its just a rubber strip running round the bottom and is used to over turn the fabric to give a neat edge and wedges in a 'valley'

Its not a rip or damage or anything like that, just how the cover was design to fix in, and sometimes it can pop out with people getting in and out.
