Hub adapters

Hey all,

Right i really want some new wheels for the car but haven't found any i like in 5x108. I really want some Porsche wheels, i no its been done on a load of other cars but can only see a clio on here with BBS's fitted

If i get hub adapters for example, http://www.performancealloys.com/hub-Adaptor-details.aspx?ID=455

Does it make my new pcd, 5x130? do i need any longer bolts etc....

Does it put any unwanted stress on the wheels, also whats the maximum wheels size (j) you can fit on the front and backs, as im guessing this adapters also space the wheel out?

Novice at this. any help will be greatly appreciated.

(and for those saying handling this handling that, the car has always been more show than go, or that's the route i'm taking now)

Thanks

Will

Want to fit some of these, or similar, offset is different for fronts and backs. but pcd is 5x130 i think...

the hub adaptors bolt to your "wheels" using the original wheel bolts holes

this then provides new holes spaced at the required distance

as for wheel bolts you will have to get ones that match the thread in the adaptors as well as the taper of the new wheels you are getting so that the wheels are bolted/clamped correctly on the new "hubs"
