200: How to tell if ya got a cup or not

A 200 cup looks like this:



Please note the wheels are the wrong colour as they should be anthracite. As mentioned above the cup is a cheaper lower specified variant of the 200 so your dealer could well be correct. Hopefully yours will have the cup pack fitted.

I've just been out to take this pic for you on my FF Cup...it needs a clean!!

Full-lock the steering, get on your knees and look up. Should see blue and yellow spots on the spring for Cup suspension. Easiest way to check.

Fairly sure cup springs should be blue and orange not yellow.

Ok first things first there is no such thing as a FF 200!

Renaultsport 200 + Cup pack



- Red brake callipers
- Darker Shade of wheels if Speedlines (black) are not a selected option.
- 27% stiffer front springs over non cup pack
- 30% stiffer rear springs over non cup pack
- 7mm lower over non cup pack
- 7.5% quicker steering rack over non cup pack

Other than the above the outside and inside is identical to the non cup.

I have most probably missed a few items but these are the most common ways to spot the differences!

Lol sorry guys. To me that's yellow/orange. Didn't think it was that important.

Any variety of yellow/orange and a blue spot = cup suspension.

Thanks I wasn't even on the lookout for a new car I took mine in for a service and liked the colour of the 200 so purchased it.
Im not fussy which model it is.
Might seem a little weird to some but ive brought my last 3 cars on an impulse buy.
1. Clio 200 Silverstone
2. Focus RS lime green
3. Impreza WR1 that I had modified to 600bhp

The clio even though the slowest was the most fun so when I saw the liquid yellow 200 I had to have it.

Engine? yes but its the same engine as a 250 with a tweaked intake and 0.1 bar higher pressure.

O right I thought the 265 had forged internals and the 250 didn't ?
I rang Ktec up but they just said they aint done one yet but they do the 225 conversion.

I was thinking the 265 engine with a full system and a map would be a good way to go.

Sounds like you need to become the first to get it done. I would recommend an LSD as well though.

Probably because 250 engines are hard to come by let alone a 265 engine.

They have a 265 that has been smashed up waiting for a court case or insurance payout or something like that.
But after joining this site thinking may be better to have any work I decided to have done by a different company.
Any suggestions ?

Sc autos or RS tuning do them but I've not used them tbh.

Been to RS tuning for a RR day and I'm sure there work is good but they took less care of their workshop and things in it than I'd like to be honest.

Its a cup by the way whoop whoop.
Had the roof gloss black cup spoiler and de badged.

Looking into getting the door handles,side rs badges, front and rear diamonds gloss black to complete the look.
