help please. clutch issue

Generally I'd agree. But imsure I've seen a post somewhere on here describing the same weirdness

Yep, Henderson has noticed the same thing a few times when giving it some abuse.

Don't think he's ever found the cause though...

Just need to get round to having the hydraulics bled. Should happen this week. Been mental busy at work

Ever since I bled my brakes mine seems better, unsure if its the slightly more temperate weather but it's no longer a struggle to get it in gear and ignoring the box being slightly notchy as usual it's been feeling a lot more precise and less like you're stirring a pot of gears and hoping to get lucky.

Starting to think my fluid was screwed.

Why do alot of modern cars now use the same reservoir for both the clutch and brakes surely this cant be good in extreme conditions? My megane was the same but my s2000 was hydraulic but had separate fluids.

cost saving and simplicity!

Cost and packaging most likely, easier and cheaper just to run a pipe off the existing system. Saves space of a second reservoir too. I wonder if there's any reason you couldn't just add your own reservoir :\ .

Not ideal in a performance vehicle though is it...

think you could quite easily - plenty of competition remote reservoiurs about to use!

just blank the old outlet and mount the new one in a place that has fairly straight pipe run to supply the master cylinder

Hmmm, project for a rainy day me thinks...
