Yesterday saw me battling with the elements to spruce up my mates Astra SXI, which was severely oxidised and pink in places.
I took this opportunity to have a play with Auto Finesse's new pre wax cleaner - Rejuvenate - to see how it stacked up against my favourite 'one hit wonder' - Dodo Juice Lime Prime.
The car itself is very well looked after, but generally grubby on the outside. It was very rewarding to work on too, knowing the difference I'm making and how well appreciated it would be by my mate.
So, quick write up... some befores:

The process was:
- Wheels cleaned with 4:1 Autosmart Smart Wheels, Wheel Woolies and Envy Brushes
- Tyres and Arches with Autosmart G101 4:1
- Shuts and sills with G101
- Bodywork with Optimum Car Shampoo, Dodo SN Mitt and Zaino bucket
- Bodywork decontaminated with Autosmart Tardis:

- Bodywork clayed with Elite Polyclay and Valet Pro Citrus Bling (10:1)
- Bodywork rewashed, then dried with Elite Uber Drying Towel
The car was then taped up and prepared for polishing.
I decided to try out Auto Finesse's new pre wax cleanser Rejuvenate on this car, to see how well it works via machine, how well it removes swirls and indeed on this car, how well it removes oxidisation (which this car was seriously suffering from!)
After playing with a few pads combos, I settled on the Megs Burgundy Cutting pad via Rotary, along with a 'couple of blobs' of AFR
On to the correction pics:

VERY impressed via machine, and lovely to use by hand too. I'd say it cuts a bit more than Lime Prime (which I tried too as a comparison) and seems a touch more user friendly. I did have a few issues with 'sling' (it's like milk) but managed to adapt my process to allow for this.
This is now going to be my choice for 'one step cleansing'.
I finished up with :
- Wolf's Body Wrap on bodywork
- Optimum Opti Seal on alloys
- CG New Look Trim Gel on plastics and tyres
- Autosmart 50/50 on glass
The afters:
