Has anyone an orig. Clio 197 Differential lying around?

Limited Slip Diff for Clio 197&200 (TL4 gearbox). Read if interested!

EDIT2: Diff is not a Problem anymore. We can get one of those.

What I am looking for now is people with serious Interest in a Torsen Limited Slip Differential (Quaiffe) for the Clio 197&200. Price would be around 700 € tops.

I need me 10 seriously interested people. I can bring in 2 already, including me.

Well, the Gearbox has to go out to change the diff-cage. Everything else in the gearbox can stay put. Since getting out the gearbox is not that easy in the clio you should reckon with approximately 8 hours of labour.

It´s not "cheap" for sure. But, imho, well worth the effort.

i'm the one, who cares for a serious collecting for the order of the Quaife atb differentials.
as roas has already indicated, we are on the look for serious buyers.

So:

who of you has interest in a locking differential for his clio 197?
at a reasonable quantity, this project can be launched successfully.

but first, I need a number (minimum 10), i can give quaife,
so I can send them an original differential to measure it and to determine the price.

price:
i guess between 600 € - 1000 € each.

if the financing is not yet clear, you can tackle this in two steps:

first, decide for the sale of a atb, to get the numbers.
This is the most important, otherwise there is no one for one...

and in a second step the instalation.

i say:
better the atb must be on the shelf a few month, than have none at all!

I am interested, BUT, since I've spent a lot of cash the past month I can't afford it now.

Probably during the summer I could get my hands on 1000€. And then I was thinking about getting my interior in leather.

But I'm definitely interested, eventually I'll buy a LSD.

otherwise, with "definitely intrested but eventually", it will never be one.

so now, searched are ten serious buyers at least.
if there are ten, I can send the original differential.
then it goes a while, until cost and delivery time will be announced.
so you have up to january / february time to have the money ready.
and € 1000.- is extra slightly higher estimate.
I think it will be less...

i say:
better, first you look for the purchase of a atb, than have none at all!

but if you ask, this item do not exist (yet).
also because of lack of demand...

so again:
if nobody cares to get about ten serious orders in the minimum, there will never be such a thing!

I might be wrong, but is the R26 gearbox not the same, bar ratios and LSD, as the 197 box? So could you not use the diff in the R26 box?
