Has anybody successfully wrapped their brake lights with Smoke Film?

Guys, Have any of you successfully wrapped your brake lights with Smoke Film? because of the shape of our rear brake cluster im having a real tough job doing it, seems to crease and bubble everywhere, ive blown one lot of film and ive now had to order another. have any of you got any tips please?

Have you taken the lights out whilst trying to do this? If not it might be easier, really simple to remove them.

If you already have then don't know what to suggest, I imagine it's really fiddly and awkward

I've never attempted it. But you can purchase spray-on tint for plastic light lenses............

I think heating the film with a hairdryer would help make it more flexible which should make it easier.

Can you do this with film? I know it works with vinyl.

No idea as i've never done it, but it should work at least in theory!
