Harness wash.. how to?

hi mate, my friend give me 2 set of sabelt harnesses.. them are dirty because he used them into a race car..

How can i wash them? link or name of a product? wash machine?

I would imagine the metal parts would be ok, it might be best stuffing it in an old pillow case and stick it in your washing machine.

Don't use softener.

All purpose cleaner, a stiff bristled brush and a microfibre.

Do not put them in the washing machine.

APC will not ruin them, this is the standard way to clean all safety belts without risk.

I have used washing machine on the low rotation speed, tempreture about 60C, and used special bag for gentle washing (just for washing machine protection) metal parts are heavy. Remove belts before fast drying in WM, Dry them on the bench. Then, oil the belt lock and JOB DONE!

Wasing by hand - very hard job and not very useful.
