Sounds like my life, I need to sort the car on the weekend then head up to the Blackpool meet. I miss the days when I had the time for my consoles :worried:

I can't dude I've got it on Xbox, I was gonna get PS3 version, but haven't played on PS3 in so long I couldn't be arsed to wait 5days for it to download and install all the updates it would no doubt need :smiley:.

Varied success with it last night when tying to do stuff with a friend online, getting into the same session is somewhat laboured and when coming back out of missions/heists whatever it seemed to randomly drop you both back out into different sessions when it felt like it.

Loading or trying to join missions was generally hit or miss, we ended up just driving around robbing stores but that doesn't get you much money tbh.

It's poorly executed imo given I was playing GTA:SA about 4 or more years ago with similar content online and we didn't have a 170m pound budget to make it, you could even play as a policeman on that :tongueout:
 
Cheers for the heads up on the stocks and shares last night boys. Did the first assassination that you have to do. Each character doubled his money. Dropped a bloke off to the airport and he also gave me a tip.

**NOTE** Dont skip the cut scenes, watch and listen carefully!

A guy at work was saying he had read about (and tried) going into the consol settings, deleting the GTA update then putting the game back in again and redownloading the update then trying online again.

Said for him it worked fine then
 
Im going to leave it a few days atleast. The stock markets went tits up last night aswell. Looks like they are having big issues.
 
****ing car went missing. Porshe (look a like) all upgrades in great colour.

Went to collect last night for my first street race and it was gone.

Fuming.
 
There was another update for online yesterday, and its now running a little better, ive only been kicked off once since!

This latest GTA has really raised the bar imo, the physics engine is fantastic, driving cars is fun again, and the cops seem smarter this time. Its bad ass! Just wish it didnt cost you £2k to die everytime on online! lol
 
Update wrecked my story mode. Post-update, all my main missions disappeared and have 3 garages (one each for Michael, Franklin and Trevor) appear on the map. Got just over 60% through and can't get any further.

How such a game-breaking glitch gets through I don't know. Tried deleting the update but it didn't work, probably because it autosaved after the update.
