is it cold round your way????

Boom boom!

Well when the guys set off for the run on Sunday it was -1C. Supposed to be the same tonight and even colder tomorrow! Snow up t'hills too!

Winter is here guys

Just make sure she doesn't do what I did last winter;

I was following a gritter from a 'safe' distance as I thought it was on and didn't want to get sprayed. I eventually figured out that it wasn't switched on and went to overtake. Got right behind... and the gti switched the grit on and covered the car. :'( not a happy boy at all! So next day it was about 0c and I had to go clean it, polish and wax it just for peace of mind.

I'm glad not to be commuting now, I'm fine in all weathers including torrential down pores but snow/ice I hate. Summers tyres don't go well with it :wink:

Driving my old dci last winter was not fun with no traction control and way too much torque for the conditions.

My golf gt tdi with 305 lbs ft of torque was a nightmare. It just could not get grip even with the traction control on! It spent most of last winter sat outside the house.

I had to defrost the car when leaving work last night to get home. Didnt have any de-icer as wasnt expecting it to be so cold, had to sit there for 15mins to let the heaters melt the ice!

Nop, still nice and warm down here at the moment, but then it is always much milder down here.

15c days and 12c nights, it did drop down to 2c last night though with frost.
