Thanks! Yes, the seats are porn. Unfortunately the drivers one could need a replacement already. I know a source that can organise new covers for a very good price but only as pair and they still cost an arm and a leg. I already got me a replacement steering wheel from the same source because mine already has gotten wrinkled at one spot. I actually was lucky to get one because as it turned out the one with the red center mark doesn't gets produced anymore and Renault hasn't any left. Fortunately my source still managed to dig one up from somewhere.
One of my best buddies is living near Hamburg. Just tell me when you're here and I'll show you around.
I thought I may add some infos about why it's called "Sport Auto Edition" (SAE) for the interested in here, too.
The "Sport Auto" is a German car magazine which has a long(er) lasting relation with Renault Sport. They already had done a small edition of 50 Megane 1 (Sport Trophy) together with RS in before.
Overall 99 SAEs were produced as part of the 666 cars of the "Ange & Demon" (A&D) edition. The differences to the A&Ds is that the SAEs had no configuration options. They always came in matt grey and fully equipped (except for seat heating and park assistance/distance control).
The last info I have is that only 11 are still registered in Germany. That's presumably because some went out of country, some are not registered and put away into garages in expectation of increasing value and a few were already totalled on the track.
