Gold Heat Reflector tape on standard induction setup?

Anyone have any experience with this? I've got a panel filter in my standard airbox and would think that buying heat reflector tape for the induction kit that comes standard with the car would be beneficial?

Anyone?

I use a Mishimoto Gold heat reflective tape on my boost pipes that we stock.

Using the Turbo Gauge I have noticed a reduction in inlet temps but the jury is still out on how much performance difference it's possibly making

Any way of making the charge temperature lower will have some benefit. Not sure how much you will gain on a N/A engine but when I was running turbos in other motors I always found getting clean cooler air from outside the engine bay helped mr run higher boost than with using the stock set up ie air from under the bonnet .

Surely can't hurt to try then? I don't see how it would make a negative difference. Either it will work or it won't.
