Genuine Recaro seat covers or re trimming

Hi
Can someone help me please,the drivers side recaro has a small wear hole (side as you brush it when getting in) which i believe is a common fault,does anyone know where i can obtain a genuine recaro replacement cover or recommend anyone who specialised in re trimming such seats.

New genuine bases, bought loads of stuff from here great service.


I'd advise though to save and have them retrimmed, the standard material will just wear through again over time. Depending on were you are in the country there are a few places that do retrims, the big ones I can think of is Edge Automotive who are in the traders section on here and Capital seating but both are based in the midlands. I'm having mine done by a company in Wokingham next month called Trimmania at some point but it's just a case of finding someone local to you that's done Recaro CS Sportsters before and you like the quality of their work.

Will you be getting anymore? £250 for the pair plus £30 delivery, so should be £140 per seat delivered or less seeing as theres only 1 base not 2? Or would you do a special deal on this last one remaining???

Unfortunately, there's no difference if I send one or two bases due to the weight (category).

Andrew from Australia here. I'm after OEM Recaro fabric for a Clio 200. The only place I can find is on ebay. Capital Seating. It's very expensive. Is there a cheaper supplier? Cheers.

Not really unless your other option as I have not seen the recaro fabric up close you could confirm buy the trim from a back seat used so it has similar aging, take the fabric from that to fix your recaro. But all said and done by the time you buy the fabric ship it and pay someone to repair the seat and do a good job buy a seat base and be done with it.

It's the side bolster on the back rest. I've no idea how much they are to buy.
Just a small hole which was there when I got the car.

That's my 2012 Clio 200 in white in my avatar.. Very rare in Oz. I also have a 2012 in Red

If its a 200 the covers new are about £250 - £300 for the seat base and about the same for the upright cover I saw a couple on eBay UK for sale about that money. With the value of the pound dropping sit tight and keep an eye on eBay one will turn up but most people will run a mile when you want it posted to Australia there is a lot of red tape an import duty to pay so check up on that first. You should buy a membership for the forum it's £5 a year since u have 2 cars it would give you more access to the forum I worked with Cameron Donald motorcycle racer that won 2 Isle of man TT's with us he's from Warrandyte and he would probably not pay the membership either.
