General update on the 197

So I've not done much to my car as of late. Had it repaired after the car park incident, so that's good

Got some pressed plates (that 4 months later I'm still waiting to fit as I have to drill out the rivets Renault bolt the plates on with)

Then it got absolutely filthy

And I'm wrapping interior parts again. Currently it's all sprayed blue (barring the centre piece which is carbon fibre which is going into storage)
So far I've managed this, more to follow

Will add more photos as its done and put into the car :thumbup1:

Also I modded peugeot 206 mist jets to fit the 197 (massive improvement) and have diadem indicator bulbs after the original amber bulbs began to flake, no pictures of these although you can see the diadem bulbs in the above pictures.

Repair work was done through an in laws contact (he sells classic cars) so it was really top notch.

I'm going to buy everytime I go round the parents for the drill I forget :tongueout:

It's really good. I don't even notice it now. I had the crack and scrape on the back bumper done at the same time and there is no discernible difference in the paint as you can see from the picture.

The plates are nice. I got mine from a market but the guy is online too and I know another 197 has the pressed plates on his car from the same guy (who is a mini fanatic btw)

haha i had a clio cake a few years ago with my mk2! youv really tempted me with the black badge covers, i really dont know what to do!

I love the black badge covers. Suit albi (actually most colours) very well.
I'm just about to change these to something abit different now

Clio cakes are where it's at :tongueout:

Going to be wrapping the Renaultsport steering wheel thing once the white label arrives to stick back on it.
A question does anyone know how to get the silver ring off from the steering wheel and also how do I get at the speedo/RPM/TPMS monitor surround in the dash (the silver surrounds) as I'd like to wrap those too
