gearbox?

folks - every now and again when I get a clear road to give the F1 a blast when I rev to around 7000k + rpm when I change gear its like I can hear a cog spinning.. is this normal or have I something to worry about?

Yep normal, they all do it.

Don’t quote me on this but I think its to do with the acoustic valve letting air out.
