Im needing to buy some gearbox oil and was just wondering what the general consensus is?

I changed my gearbox oil to some MTL 6 weeks ago - 1,000 miles later and the gearbox is running smoother and better than ever!

I'm using Millers after being recommended by Opie Oils. No complaints so far, but early days. (Sub 500 miles). Does feel smoother, easier to engage gears, but could be placebo effect.

That's the one, I'm getting NFP put in my box today, been on same oil for 80k so I'll let you know the results...

FYI, now got silky smooth gear changes!

Anyone notice any improvement in selecting 1st when cold?

I changed mine out to NFP a few months ago and the gearchange is as slick as you like, but it hasn't solved the stiff box when the engines cold.
5 minutes in and its syrupy smooth.

Thinking brake fluid/ clutch bleed and replacement with fresh fluid during the service might help.
