Gearbox oil

I want to change my gearbox oil but not sure what to use, I've seen a few people use and say the castrol edge syntrans 80-90 stuff is good but is this ok as it's a different grade oil from what's recommended? There's nothing wrong with the gearbox just want to freshen it up.

Hi

You need an MTF for the gearbox and the best proven options are the Red Line MTL, Amsoil MTF or Fuchs Sintofluid. The Millers TRX 75w-80 and Motul Motylgear are good alternatives.
