Gearbox Oil? Short Final Drive and Quafie Diff fitted

Hi, I would like to know if anyone here is running same setup:

-Gripper shorter final drive
-Quafie differential

Question is what gearbox oil are you using? or what do you recommend?

I use the car mainly for track and using 75w90 gl5 oil - It seems that the oil is getting too hot during track days leading to synchro crunching on 3rd and 4th (gearbox rebuilt recently). syncro problem is only noticeable when gearbox is hot (only during track day)

so I was wondering maybe I go up to a heavier oil?

Try some high quality standard grade.
Heavier oil isn't gonna make your symptoms better, nor will it deal with heat any better.

Ok thanks. I have the recommended oil "elf NFJ 75w-80" that i got from a friend so will try it first.
