while cleaning at the weekend. It's only small but could it spread? The car is 3years old shouldn't be rusting in that time should it. How many years is the paintwork warranty? Thanks.

Something on the order of 10-12 years for the main shell/panels afaik.
Best to take it to your stealer or speak with RUK just to confirm the exact conditions.

It's never been repaired near that area has it?

No as far as i'm aware Paul never had it repaired or painted anywhere near the area.

Is that at the corner of the rear light? If so I'd suggest that at some point somebody has damaged the paint when trying to change a bulb which has allowed water to get in and start the rust.

Looks like the light has been rubbing on the paintwork?
What is the other side like Scott?

Dont remember seeing that on the car and i know every tiny mark that was on it (as you do when you clean and polish it)

Oh and there's NO way id use a screwdriver to get the light out! (you all should know that)
