Hi guys,
I recently found a Megane aluminium footrest doing some Spring cleaning and would like to finally fit it. It come as a backplate and aluminum footplate. The obvious way is to place the backplate behind the carpet then rivet the front plate on top. I forsee a lot of dirt building up that way though and not being able to clean it effectively, so am thinking of riveting the backplate to the front of the carpet, then velcro the aluminium plate on top?
I'm open to any ingenius solutions...
