How do you get the bit round gear lever out ?

Really easy to remove Craig pull the gear knob off (dont loose the spring) then the whole panel around the gear lever just clips off. When you have removed this turn it over and you will see the plastic lugs that hold the two parts together ( you will understand what I mean when you see them. The gaitor is stapled to the trim part so rather than remove this I just turned the gaiter inside out and filled the void with a clean cloth cut out a piece of card to fit the inside and masked the edges up before spraying it.
