The Finess range is very good.used the shampoo and glass cleaner got the bug stuff but not had chance to use yet:thumbup:

Glad you liked them Roy

Tripple is worth a punt too - superb AIO!

Citrus Power is really clever - it breaks down bugs without stripping your protection, like most citrus degreasers will.

Wil give it ago.looking for a decent wax now ready for the winter onslaught mate any recommendations got Workstat on at the moment should I stick with it??? It's what Liam put on

Do you have a bottle of Jett Trigger to top it up with?

Collinite is always bullet proof for winter, but waxes generally aren't as slick as sealants, so won't keep your car as clean, for as long.

Something like this is very interesting:

but has a tricky application process. Definitely the way forward though for the best protection.

I'm starting to use the Wolf Nano stuff for my winter protection details - so Rim Shield, Body Wrap and Trim Sealant. All of which should last at least 6 months, so ideal for cover from October to April. Thinking of doing a nano protection detail for about £99, including surface prep.

I think your Jeffs will be fine tbh, as long as you have some Jett Trigger

Sorry to thread crash guys, but I have the Opti-Seal (not the Opti-Coat Russ has recommended) but I find it can be a little streaky ( maybe applying too much?), and I don't feel like it really does 'that much' to be honest. I find that traditional wax/sealants are more satisfying.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, I spray on to the surface (sparingly) and then wipe off with a foam applicator pad. Any tips?

Watch the application vids on YouTube.

I find its best if you spray on to the applicator, and wipe it into the surface.

You need a good 3 layers or so to get the best from it, but you can lay a layer down in about 5 mins.

If you have streaking, you're using waaaay two much. 1-2 squirts per panel should be plenty, and it should flash off immediately.

It is superb, it just has a bit of a technique to it.

Yes Russ always use the trigger and the gloss one as well.but that's what I want is that 6 months cover over the winter think I might look at getting some or you to do it
Thanks

I really need to look more into this semi-permanent nano coatings, such as GTechniq C1, problem is, you really need a unit to apply to properly, which I can't justify, being part time.

Jeffs probably would see you through, but I'd perhaps look at re-applying the Prime base and starting again on the layering, as dirt and contamination will have built up over time between the layers, which in turn can affect durability.

The great thing about Jeffs is the ability to get a layer of protection down in minutes, so on the odd warm, dry day in December, you can boost the protection, quickly.
