External handles

Hi All,

My 197 has keyless entry/lock and I wondered whether standard none keyless entry/lock handles would work on the car? Meaning I would have to keycard while they were fitted.

Also are the Laguna 2 (2001 - 2006) handles the same as the Clio?

The keyless entry handles are different to the cup versions in that yours have some wires in them to detect the keycard.

I would imagine without them you'd not be able to get in your clio.

Hmmm OK just wanted them fitted for a few days while I had my keyless ones resprayed.

Can anyone shed anymore light on which other Renault models share the same external handles as the Clio?

I thought the Laguna ones were the same

I'm spraying mine today but I'm rather fortunate that mine is a 2nd car
