expert menu

i recently bought this

plugs straight into the back of the factory HU. apparently......your supposed to go into the expert menu and switch on AUX.......but iv pressed and held down every button on it and still cant find it! if i hold down 'update list', it flashes up on the display about 5 times then goes off.

any help would be great. cheers

You should hold down the button marked expert, then when says aux, change it to on. At least I think!

Try holding source button down if expert doesn't work. Never seen one of them before! You definately got aux supproted headunit?

well on the ebay advert it says all clios after 05 have got the update list and that the lead will work. mines a 57 2008. iv held down expert but it just turns AF on and off. the thing that annoys me the most is that iv just sold my sony HU cos i thought this lead would work. ANNOYING! think im gunna av to get a new HU arnt i. is there a fascia i can buy for round the new unit? cos last time i put 1 in it left huge gaps at the sides.

You have to scroll through the menu, af is just one of the options.

well im gunna buy an alpine HU soon as i find a good 1. an i dont really need this lead, if you wanna buy it you can. cheap as chips! its a 2min install
