Would just like to recommend Elite Motors Bodyshop in Northampton to anyone looking for bodywork and paint services. They are predominately a Porsche and Audi approved specialist but took in my 197 for a wheel refurb, tailgate respray and drivers side rear panel respray. I've been a little cautious on bodyshops of late after a few s*ite jobs on wheels and stuff elsewhere and decided to take Elite up on the work.
The wheels originally were in a horrendous state with paint runs and corrosion left in by the previous "bodyshop".. they did not try to rip me off at any point and suggest harsh acid dipping or sand blasting.
I received a brand new Polo as a courtesy car for the duration of the car being with them and was kept updated with the progress of the work.
Upon receiving the car, I couldn't fault a thing.. absolutely brilliant, faultless in fact. The car had also been valeted on collection to a high standard.
Their services gets better as only a few days later a cowboy tyre shop marked one of the freshly done wheels.. I took the car back to Elite straight after feeling a little worried that I'd need to fork out more cash for a single wheel to be done, when they in fact offered to repair the work for nothing!
