How do I do this, I have replaced my faulty exhaust sensor but need to clear the light on the dash, removing battery did not help.

Also will this affect my map??

i had this problem when my MAF sensor went i put a new one on and tryed the battery thing and didn't wipe the light or affect my RS tunning MAP .
but luckily enough that day i was going to renault for a service and they wiped it for me no extra charge which was surprising ,

try a local garage who has a OBD2 or someone who has a RS runner box to clear it

i left it off for about 40 mins and still nothing.

Yeah I will try that, maybe give a guy a £5er to do it then,
