Has anyone had these before, seen pretty cheap at £26 for the front and £14 for the rears but at this price will they be any good ?

I've used Black Diamond on previous cars and found them very good.

The standard Brembo/Ferodo items are very good anyway to be honest.

Had the EBC ultimax in my old 1.4 clio runabout and didn't even rate em for that. Proper bog standard road pads for commuting at best.

Why buy a car with epic brakes as standard to then put inferior pads on?

As has been said, DS2500's... if not, stick to standard items

Really!? There's so many other options out there. I know of people running various pads and all give them the thumbs up! Don't necessarily go for first thing suggested. Personally, I run mintex and fricking love em! CL's are also a good option or ebc blue or yellow. I could go on....
If you just use the car as a daily find the standard brakes up to scratch then stick with standard.

Really good, a lot more breaking power and cope well with punishment. I have the grooved disks as well. Adding braided lines and ate superblue fluid next weekend

Wouldnt use EBC if they were free.

I use Pagid disks and pads in my 197 and it stops like it's hit a brick wall.

Cheers Roger, might well give them a try at some point but have to say I do find the standard items very good also.

What model pads are you using Danny? I've had Pagid before and was very happy with them (Ford Puma).
