Hi,

I'm new to this forum having progressed from cliosport.

having had a 172 cup for the last few years, I took the plunge yesterday and bought a 197 F1 via ebay. I'm on the train to collect it now and I just pray it's not a sow. Buying things unseen can be a worry sometimes. Anyway, it will be what it will be. The pictures looked good..!!

it's red and No 264 if any of you know it.

wish me luck. At least I've still got the 172 to fall back on if I've made a big mistake.

All is well. Picked it up and appears in great condition. Will have to get the belts done though as there is no mention of them being done in the service book. Very smooth and quiet compared to my 172 cup though.
