DVD ---> Ipod decoder??

Wanting to convert my DVD to be played on my Ipod via Itunes, can anyone recommend a good all in 1 free software package that can do this? or offer any guidance? thanks

I use software from Slysoft, but it isn't free. In fact, looking now, it seems bloody expensive compared to what I paid! Very good, though. You'd need AnyDVD and CloneDVD Mobile to do the job required.

cheers, i may have been mis informed about some free packages out there?!

I would imagine anyone doing it for free is using some long-winded method or has obtained their software illegally. Photoshop is about 700 quid, but look how many people seem to have a copy of it!
