Door strip removal

Is it possible to just remove the strip on the middle of the door (Mines colour coded to the car) the bit to the right of the indicator?

Had my car washed yesterday and they caught it on the wall, there's a small mark on the corner and wondered if you can take it off to be painted without having to do the whole door ?

It isn't really noticeable but they accepted full liability and just told me to fetch them the quote/receipt and they'll give me the money.. however I don't want the hassle of having the full door painted wether they're paying or not.

Guides with broken images really grind my gears tbh. Pictures for guides should be stored and hosted on this sites servers imo rather than being linked from a hosting site.

I've just looked in my photobucket and the pics are not there so I must have uploaded them from somewhere else.

If someone on the forum knows let me know and i'll hunt them out.
